I (F29) lost the motivation to build long-term relationships a couple of years ago. Now, I'm just enjoying life, working on my career, spending time with my friends and family, and traveling a lot.

I'm also not one to shy away from romantic dates. I meet and build relationships with guys, but I never plan anything serious with them and don't really want marriage or having kids. I'm pretty annoyed by people saying I owe no one anything, especially in relationships. That's exactly the opposite. I guess I'm just not ready to give up all the perks I have now to make a serious relationship and family a priority. I've almost fully realized this and feel happy, but social constraints still weigh on me sometimes.

What makes you happy and what motivates you in building a serious relationship and planning a family?

TLDR: I don't really see the point or happiness in building a serious relationship, but I'm still susceptible to stereotypes and standards.
