Last month i handed in my resignation notice because my boss made my job unbearable.
A week later i was offered the chance to apply for a promotion in the same company. After passing the interviews i got the salary offer. While it was significantly lower then expected it was still a pay rise on my current position + better hours and a different boss. I took the offer and my GF freaked out and started calling me an idiot and a sheep. I tried to explain i would have taken a pay cut just to get away from my boss , so better pay and hours are a bonus from my view. She kept freaking out and after i asked her repeatedly to stop because she was making me feel insulted she told me i dont understand and i need therapy. I felt great after taking the job but she made me feel like a piece of shit and an idiot. How do i reasone with someone like that? Is it even worth trying?
