In my case my wife wants to leave a light on in the master bath during the day. She thinks the bathroom is too dark.
I’ve talked to her a couple of times. I think leaving the light on is wasteful and that there’s adequate light given that the bathroom has a window and a tube skylight I put in. Plus she can simply switch the light on when she enters.
But she still wants the light on. So I just accept it now. It’s simply not a hill worth dying on. Any extra cost is minuscule. … But every now and then I’ll “accidentally” switch the light off.
