I work in medicine and sometimes work 80 hours a week, then come home and have more work to do from home. I also feel that I do more than half of the household duties / chores. It feels that I have work and chores, and don't really have time for anything else. I mentioned that I've seen on other Internet forums that people with unequal job hour requirements take on chores so that they both have a similar amount of free time.
She disagrees and thinks that we should do chores equally because it was not her choice that I took a job that requires more hours/burden, and that she can have more free time if her job is less burdensome, and that she should not need to do more chores.
