Me (27F) and my husband (22M) have been married for almost 3 years. Recently he has expressed that he wants to go and do things without me on a regular basis. For reference I am a partially disabled SAHM to our 2 year old son. I cannot not drive so when he leaves I am essentially anchored and stuck at home.
He says he should be able to go stay over at friends house overnight every weekend. And he wants to go to the bars some days a week with friends after work. He works 10+ hours days and when he comes home he just eats dinner and sleeps. If he goes with a friend he can magically stay awake then but not at home and doesnt really spend time with our son anymore. Its gotten to the point where I see him less than his friends do as I see him while he is awake maybe 10-12 hours in a week in total. He drives a truck at work and talks to his friends all day long on the phone and gets annoyed when I call him.
I have had other relationships but this is the first guy that has wanted so much space away from me. In the beginning he didnt want to go anywhere without me now I don't get to go anywhere with him not even the store unless I beg. Is this normal for guys? It bothers me but I dont know how to express how I feel without making him mad. When he gets mad he just leaves and ignores my phone calls.
