Hi! I need some advice on sexual intimacy between myself F 27 and my partner F 29 while in a long distance relationship. I don’t know anyone else in a LDR so I’m hoping reddit will help!
My partner and me have been together for two and a half years and are currently doing long distance for the first time. We are about 3 months in. It’s honestly been really hard but we’ve been getting through it. However, I am struggling with sexual intimacy. I’m a very awkward person, I don’t like to talk much during sex but my partner does, which I love. So this makes it hard for me with long distance, because I guess you’re kind of dependant on words in the absence of physical touch. I get awkward and then laugh it off or make a joke when she flirts with me or tries to start something because I just don’t know what else to do… I really want to be able to “have sex” over the phone but I just don’t know how to get past the awkwardness 😩 We’ve send photos/videos to each other but my partner has been trying to spice it up even more. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep the spice alive in a LDR and how to get past the awkward feeling!? (Also, a throw away account because I don’t know if anyone I know is on here)
