Every Friday, just say whatever is in your mind in this post. It doesn’t need to be a question, and go on whatever tangent you want to go on.
We will still be enforcing our rules on gendered slurs, bigoted/disrespectful/hateful commentary, invalidation (if someone’s only contribution is telling others they are wrong), medical issues, and relationship advice. However the comments don’t need to be on a specific topic, and they don’t need to be open-ended questions.

I guess a tangent it is, but a positive one. I grew up relatively poor and never had a good coat or bedding. I let myself suffer accordingly in winter with poor quality of both of those things. But living in a cold building for the last year changed my mind and I inviested in good quality both of those things from a rather high end store. The flannel sheets in particular have helped my sleep enourmously. Turns out I couldn’t fall asleep because I was cold! Women are often encouraged to put ourselves last, but giving yourself the best you can is an investment that will pay off down the line. We deserve comfort and ease, and part of that means we are able to look foreward to the changing of the seasons changing without worry.
I don’t know if I will continue with my education anymore.
Atm I’m about 2 months from finishing my bachelor’s and it’s been super exhausting. Also the cost is an issue.
I’ve never been the study type or the best student and I dropped out of highschool but I’m ok. It’s still a huge achievement for me, I always felt dumb. Yes I do enjoy the course, but it’s a long rollercoaster as always.
I’m also stressing about needing to find new work, but I also haven’t had time to job search since I’ve been busy doing my assessments, working my current job and looking after my little sister. Since it’s the last semester. I really have to be on time and I don’t think I’m good at that, (I’ve had to ask for extensions) but getting better
I’m about to be laid off, I would like to find one in the industry I’m studying but it’s not guaranteed.
