Hi. My “boyfriend” (27m) [dating w/ no label] and I (21f) have worked together for the past couple of months. I was new at the job and he was my supervisor, before you say anything, I know, but it was all consensual. We started this about five months ago, and there is a strict policy of not fraternizing with coworkers (we work at a law firm.) We were super careful the entire time, nobody knew, no pictures of us, never mentioning anything that we did together around the same time on the off chance of someone piecing it together… It was great. We dated officially for a bit before he called it quits for personal reasons, but we rekindled. He constantly told me how special I am to him and how I’m beyond easy to talk to, how I SEE him for him. Skip to this past weekend, we went on a 3 day trip together and it was beyond fun, but he constantly acted as if we were officially dating while in private and in public. Here’s the problem, and I know this is my mistake, I accidentally didn’t take everyone I work with off of my story and I posted a simple picture of us together. Someone snitched, and he got fired. I checked in to make sure he was okay, and he was beyond mad at me, which I get. He blamed me for the reason he was fired. I’m giving him space, but prior to that I begged for forgiveness and he said absolutely nothing. I’m worried he’ll never speak to me again. I can’t handle losing him.
What should I do so we can rekindle again? I’ve been giving space, but I’m afraid that was the end of it all. The last thing said by him was “I’m interviewing. I need another job first.” What could that even mean?
TLDR: I got my situationship fired from our shared job by accident, he’s beyond mad, and now I’m afraid he’ll never talk to me again.
