The guy I'm seeing initiates dates, touches me in small ways, passionately kisses me. He's also straight up said he likes me. However, there's never really flirting or banter between us. I've tried and he's never responsive. Some examples:
Him: I like to ride motorcycles sometimes
Me: That's hot
Him: (quiet for a second, then continues to talk about motorcycles without acknowledging what I said)
(another time, walking by a store. on display is this crazy mesh top)
Me: You should wear that, show off your abs
Him: I don't have abs
Maybe I'm just really bad at this? But it's weird to me he never seems to try. We've talked about love languages before and he said words of affirmation was definitely at the bottom for him. Could it be related to that? I just get worried about things feeling too platonic, outside of when we're physical.
