Everyone has different preferences, which is ok but at least in my experience I have found dating easier or harder depending where I lived at the time. When I lived in Venezuela and other places in South America, or when I lived in Scotland dating was a lot easier. That could obviously be a cultural thing. I know living here in the US I found people a lot harder to break the ice with. There is also a huge importance in America about looks which I highly lack but make up with personality. It just seems harder to overcome here because people are more to themselves, and again looks being more important here than other places I lived. Has anyone else experienced this? I find it even more difficult in bigger cities here in the US.
