I need some advice because I’m really confused and sad.
A guy I liked and I met a few times — nothing sexual ever happened between us. Two years ago, he told me he felt something with me that he had never felt before with another girl. I realized I wanted more than just attraction or flirting, a real connection, but he didn’t pursue anything seriously.
Even though I blocked him on Instagram, he still tries to add me. He also flirts, teases, and talks about that day a lot — how he can’t forget it, how he was affected by me, and how intense it was. But at the same time, he doesn’t commit or show interest in a real relationship.
I feel sad and frustrated because it seems like he wants the attention and thrill of our connection without taking responsibility or pursuing me. Why would someone like you so much, admit intense feelings, yet never pursue you seriously — and keep coming back anyway?
Has anyone experienced something like this? How do you deal with someone who keeps you on their radar but won’t actually commit?
