What's your favorite european country? You can't choose your own

  1. Kinda depends in what regard. Scotland is rather high on my list. As is Ireland, Portugal and Slovenia. I like my northern cousins Finland, Norway, Pharoe Islands, Iceland and Svalbard.

  2. Belgium

Its like they designed it for me, a random fat English man.

Its only 2 hrs on the train, its full of excellent beer and chips, or beef stew and mussles if I feel fancy, lots of old buildings to look at, and you can talk about the war without feeling bad. Plus Waterloo is there where we gave that upstart French prat a good kicking.

    Have that!!!

  3. Italy is not only the most beautiful country on earth, but its culture and society is quite similar to us.

From their food, based on the same ingredients as ours (tomato, wheat, olive oil) to their amazing cities, the islands, the mountains…

Every time I travel there I feel like at home, and I really enjoy the little caos of Napoli, Bari, Catania.

The motorcycles, the churches, the fields… our countries are very similar and we consider them our brothers and sisters (Portuguese people too)

  4. Austria. It has everything. Great food. Mountains and valleys. Some of the most beautiful cities in Europe. A nice location between Italy and Germany. And I assume their country is somewhat functional.

  5. Well, I’m USA and right now Italy and France are neck and neck, but if we can get to Spain and Switzerland in the next few years I’ll have a better notion.

  6. I like Scotland very much, but we are not that bad in France (funny to say after a day of protests) and the variety of landscapes (and food) is awesome.

  7. Estonia 🇪🇪

Great nature, super clean, fresh air, many islands, dense forests, a lot of wildlife to see, sauna culture, gorgeous capital city, not overcrowded

  8. Denmark
I love the weather of northern Denmark and it has a specific kind of piece to it that I didn’t finde anywhere else. I also like the beaches and the food.

  9. It’s tough to choose but I love Georgia, Finland, Estonia, and Slovenia. I just think they’re cool and interesting.

  10. Slovenia is absolutely gorgeous, has some fairly normal politics, doesn’t have a particularly high cost of living and has a higher HDI than Austria.

That being said I’d like to move to Germany, my reason being that I can speak the language, my girlfriend lives there and I miss living there for my year abroad. It’s not perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better than the UK is atm.

  11. Belgium, closely followed by Germany. And well aware that both probably don’t like the Netherlands particularly much. 😂

  12. Absolutely love Germany – easy to travel around, great beers and enough history activities for me to get lost in.

  13. I think Belgium ATM, the Netherlands definitely functions better but I kind of like the weird little country jammed between all the others and can’t decide which one it wants to copy. However I’m also a big fan of the Netherlands, Germany and Poland.

  14. Denmark. The Danes are incredibly kind, I love their artful eye — in design, in architecture, in every visual detail, and going there always brings me peace.

  15. Italy. I love the cuisine, the ancient history, their passion for sports, movies, music, etc. Overall, the country looks like paradise. The only thing I don’t like about Italy is the hot summers.

  16. Either Czech Republic or Malta

Czechia and my home country from what I’ve seen very similar and language sounds funni.

Meanwhile Malta is most beautiful place I’ve ever visited.

  17. Finland. The other half of my family is there. I’m pretty sure they’ll respond Poland for the same reason 🙂

  18. Austria, specifically Salzburg for its beauty and Vienna for its culture. The Austrians are also super friendly.

I live in Denmark, and although Copenhagen is perfect for many things and has better shopping/food, I’m a total sucker for the beauty of the Austrian mountains.

  19. Dont ge me wrong, i love my country with all the shortcamimgs and defects and if needed i would fight to defend it, no matter the price, but… Slovenia is a strong, democratic, friendly nation. My 12 pts are to Slovenia🇸🇮 and Lubliana, the Capital city

  20. Norway. Im biased ofc but having been there for over a year i gotta say its pretty awesome. I love nature and hiking and it offers some wild experiences. And nice night life. And fantastic salaries. Some things threw me off though in bigger cities, lotta prostitutes and ppl shooting up in parks broad daylight.

  21. It’s a somewhat hard choice for me between Spain and Italy.

Italy has by far the better food. I didn’t eat something I didn’t like here. Panini- wonderful; Pizza- the best I ever had ( should be the best lol); Pasta-amaaazing
For me Spain was quite the oposite. I don’t quite remember having good food here besides a ramen place and an all you can eat Korean. Sorry guys 🙈 I love your country but not because of the food.

The architecture- both have amazing historical buildings

The vegetation- I have a preference for Spain in this aspect.
Terra Rossa is also something so magical which adds charm to Spain. I have a pair of boots which has some of this clay stuck inside and each time I wear white socks, they come out red. The day the socks will stay white, will be a sad one.

The sky has a different colour in Spain, the colours in pictures are so much more vivid, everything is so full of life.

By brain says Italy is better, but my heart says Spain. Maybe it’s the memories that I made. Looking forward to my Andalucia trip this fall. 😊
