I (M21) got broken up with about 6 months ago due to a long distance situation. Last Friday I met my ex (F20) at a bar for the first time since the breakup, we both split up from our groups and just hung out all night.
Eventually we went back to my place and hooked up. She even came over and spent the following night at my place. Everything felt normal again, like nothing ever happened. Both talking and being physical with her felt very romantic and we both admitted to missing each other.
Turns out she was just home visiting family and she now lives in a city 2 hours away from me (we lived 8 hours apart during the long distance phase).
I thought ”fuck it, life is to short and I clearly still have feelings for this girl” and asked her if she would want to start seeing me again since the reason we broke up was the long distance. She told me everything that I wanted to hear, that she misses me, she still has feelings for me and the only reason she broke up with me was because she couldn’t handle long distance.
She hadn’t even been seeing or hooking up with anyone since we broke up. But still she declined saying ”I don’t think it’s a good idea”. I genuinely think the only thing standing between us is her pride, for her to realise that she made a mistake.
I have a lot of friends in her city and I’m going there next weekend. Should I send her a text or just move on?
