A quick note to maybe give some understanding to us olds who ask you out.
I am a bartender and it’s now become very clear that over lost my ability to tell how old people are. I was talking to a couple of guys the other day and mentioned something about 15 years ago and they said they were 23. I would have guessed 35.
As for the dating, it’s now happened twice that I’ve asked someone for coffee and they turned out to be in their early to mid twenties. I’m not looking to date someone in their twenties. My min is mid thirties and that’s rare. I like to date people my own age, however… I honestly thought they were older. I hope I didn’t creep them out because it was awkward for me as well.
