The title pretty much says it all. I don’t think I’m uninteresting, but I never attempt to strike up a conversation with someone because I assume they have better things to do. Most of the time when people try to talk to me I assume that they’re talking to someone else and ignore them. I’d love to make new connections but I imagine everyone else is content with the friends they have, or would be the one initiating the conversation if they weren’t. What’s the solution here? Am I just being respectful or am I putting myself down? Any advice is appreciated!
