This girl's texting style is all over the place, sometimes she replies near instantly and sometimes I don't hear from her for days.
First off it's important to note that we're still in the talking stage (or at least that's how I'd describe it). Feelings were clearly communicated but we have to keep things slow and on the down low because due to circumstances we "can't" really be with each other. I mean this to say that's she's not obligated to respond quickly and thus I don't expect her to. Still I can't help but feel insecure if I have to wait 1-3 businessdays for a text backðŸ˜
Secondly, she was a bad texter even before we had feelings for each other. She flat out didn't respond the first time I ever sent her a message, and she's stated herself that she often falls behind on catching up with people over text. She often doesn't read messages in group chats either.
All this to say that I know I shouldn't take her silence personally, but my insecure ass still thinks I said something wrong every time it happens. How do you deal with this?
