Okay so here’s the thing, I have some confidence and humor, but when it comes to having a conversation with my peers I get so focused on what to say that I feel like my responses are flat and one dimensional, and not in the sense of not giving enough energy, but I feel like whatever I say just doesn’t contribute to carrying on a conversation. Does that make sense? How does one get better at being interesting and engaging in a conversation? And yes, I’ve already tried asking a person about themselves, when you ask too much it gets creepy and doesn’t take the convo that far.
Any advice or has anyone overcome this?
