  1. Your life is meaningful because of the work you do.

No. My life is meaningful irrespective of the work I do. I bring meaning by being there for the people I love.

  2. I think that when playing strip poker, socks should NOT count as a piece of clothing

Society has truly failed us on this one 😔

  3. Animals exist to be killed and eaten.

Uhm… Not really. And it’s kinda messed up to call yourself an animal lover if you pay others to abuse and kill animals for your pleasure.

  4. “Respect your elders”

No. Respect is earned. By means you can earn it, but no one is automatically entitled to it.

  5. Girls should have long hair, wear makeup, prioritize boys, want kids, be social, be the caretaker.

    Lol, no.

  6. When most ppl validate victim mentality by saying something like, ‘that’s who they are,’ but I believe it’s healthier to help them break that chain instead of reinforcing/cultivating it

  7. Being told by administrators that my coworkers and I weren’t allowed to discuss our pay with each other. It’s illegal to prohibit this but so many of the childcare facilities I worked at were under the impression that none of us knew the law so still tried to enforce it. Not with me around baby.

  8. Dress codes at school lol never made sense to me why a hoodie or ripped jeans was such a big deal
