Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone else/anyone’s partner also kept forgetting to wear their wedding ring(s), and if so, what did you do?
We’ve only been married about two months and it seems like my husband forgets to put on his ring more often than not. He is super forgetful in general. I don’t think it’s malicious but I’ve told him how bummed it makes me when we are out and about and he doesn’t have it on. We even put a sign right above the door handle on our front door reminding him to wear it, but now he just overlooks the sign. We’ve had countless discussions about it and he still forgets it all the time.
We’ve even discussed just getting him a ring finger tattoo and forgoing the ring altogether. I’m not sure how he can make it a habit. Any advice?? Thanks!
Quick edit – I am not mad at him about this. I am not forcing him to wear the ring. I am not worried he is trying to get with other women because of the no ring thing. He wants to wear the ring and often forgets. We are BOTH looking for ways to help him remember. I’m so happy for all of you who don’t care if your spouse wears a ring! I care if mine does and so does he 🙂
