Have a darn good laugh right now. For months I would say something to my husband and he would gaslight me. So I'd tell him to stop gaslighting me.
He said, "I don't think you know what gaslighting means. I don't think you're using that word correctly."
Enough times this happened that I was starting to question my sanity. So I look up the dictionary definition of gaslighting and read it to him.
He says, "what's the word when we go on a couple dates and then you just disappear? We don't see each other anymore?"
GHOSTING
He was confusing ghosting with gaslighting.
Honestly, 27 years of marriage. I deserve a medal.
