Soon I will have a little bit of free time for hobbies for the first time in years and I want to make the most of it.
I write a lot in journals and I’ve always wanted to do some poetry or creative writing. I have an unrelated degree but I missed a lot of school so I don’t have much confidence in the basics really, like how to format poems. I’m not wanting to do this professionally at all just get a bit of a grounding to build on for my own amusement.
I’m based in the North East – I’ve googled and I can’t find anything like this in my immediate area, but I’d be happy to travel to other areas within reason as I figure that this kind of thing will be more centred around cities.
Any suggestions?
