Hello! I find myself in a little bit of a pickle and was wondering if yall could help. I just started a new job and I now work right across from a music shop, and I really like music so I've been in a few times and Ive seen the same couple of people working the registers and every time I go up to them they are always very happy to help me and we talk about music and its lovely! What im struggling with is I want to be friends with them outside of this worker/customer interaction because they are around my age and I no longer have any friends that live close to me but I cant tell if they are being friendly because they want to be my friend or if they are just being friendly because its their job to be. I want to ask for at least one of their phone numbers but I dont think ive been in nearly enough to have sort of that "regular customer/ recognizable face" status ya know? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
