I (F19) have pain at the start of sex when my boyfriend (M20) first starts penetration, it’s bad enough that I can’t ignore it and we have to take a few seconds long breaks and go slowly but after it’s all in and he starts moving it goes away and there’s no pain anymore, I’ve only had 1 boyfriend so I can’t compare him to anyone, but he’s very big (8 inches and thick), I don’t get any pain when using tampons or other items (smaller than him) and after a short amount of time it goes away and feels really good and my cervix is fine my pussy is a deep ahh cave I guess but is this normal when you have a partner who’s really big or should I be concerned?

Edit: it’s also not an issue with me not being attracted to him or not being wet enough (I get so wet we have to wipe it off sometimes), also, he has a curved dick downward if that matters

  2. I would recommend using lube and for you to be on top in the beginning so you can control the penetration. Go slow and at your own comfort level. Your muscles are tight and your body has to stretch and adjust to him. It’s pretty common especially if he’s larger in size.

  3. What kind of pain? Burning (might need dilation and lube). If it’s pressure on your rectum (in missionary) that could be nerve related. Going to the toilet before sex may help that.

Do you have the same pain if you use a toy or insert your fingers?

  4. Lube on penis and go slow.

You can be on top which can help too.

I find with a larger partner take it in a bit and pause, allowing yourself to stretch a bit. Then move it back and forth a bit slowly at that depth before going in further and pause again. Repeat until it is in all the way and you feel yourself relaxed and accepting. Then you are good to go.

In missionary, pillow under your butt helps.
