I live with roommates. We share a fridge and freezer. There's been a few occasions where they complain that some food of mine has past it's best before date. Of course if it was moldy or something I would get it, but not if it's a few days old or hasn't been opened. They've also complained about food in the freezer that has been burried. A few things I don't like is they post the complaint in in a group chat, they make valueless statements like 'please be more careful' or they move it and leave it outside to not contaminate the rest of the food.
How should I reply to this? Someone mentioned I should phrase it as 'let me worry about myself, my food is my own business'.
