What can I talk to people about besides for gossip?

I feel like whenever I talk to people and I don’t know what to say I just say, ‘did you hear about [insert celebrity]’ or ‘did you know [insert celebrity]?’

I just don’t know what to talk about and I feel like the weather is too boring.
