What’s your opinion on zodiac signs?

  1. It’s a pseudoscience. That doesn’t make it entirely useless or invaluable. If you want to learn from it, you have to approach it in a reasonable way.

  2. No different than any other random “What color is your soul” or “what type of bread you are” quiz would be. No better or worse than other pseudoscience junk like the mbti. Fun for entertainment, potentially a tool for self-reflection, but not terribly useful beyond that.

  3. I’m scared of people who talk about them in a joking way because I’m afraid they might partially mean it or fall into believing in it.

  4. I don’t believe that they have a real effect on my life, but it is a lot of fun nonetheless. If people want to take them seriously it isn’t an issue to me, I think most people have something they believe in, and if zodiac signs is it then that’s pretty harmless.

  5. They’re fun and I like reading them when I happen to see them, but they’re not accurate and shouldn’t be taken seriously.
It’s a fascinating idea but I don’t think we have the means to study them properly.

  6. I don’t take it too seriously or read too far into it. It’s fun to read about and entertaining.

  7. In my experience there’s something to it, at least in terms of general trends and characteristics. Like sun, moon, and rising signs especially tend to give you a pretty decent overall flavor for a person.

  8. I have a hard time taking anyone seriously who puts any stock in it.  Really, the position of celestial bodies light years away on the day you went from inside your mother to outside your mother influences your entire personality, love life, career, etc.?  It’s nonsense.

  9. Fun and silly. I’ll read my horoscope occasionally but I don’t take it seriously. When it does actually connect to my day I think it’s a very cool coincidence and will probably tell my boyfriend about it and we will giggle.

  10. If it’s just for silly fun I don’t care, but if someone actually believes in it then I’m gonna think they’re stupid.

  11. I’m hindu and vedic astrology is a part of my culture. I don’t base my whole life around it but I have used it at times when I need some guidance along with other things. It’s weird hearing how opinionated people are about something that I consider an ancient and sacred to me but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

  12. Fun as an aesthetic, actively harmful when used to make judgments about people

  13. It’s all made up. You naturally want to believe there are connections in the world that make you who you are. Years ago, my husband had a friend who was super into Zodiac signs and told him he was wrong. So he said ok, what’s your sign, let me read your horoscope. She told him and he read it to her, and she went on for about 15 mins stating how the horoscope related to her and her life at the moment and her personality. After she was finished, he told her he read her the wrong horoscope on purpose so she’d see she would make those connections regardless of if that was her sign’s horoscope or not. She got real mad and never brought it up again.
