Why is my straight friend still my friend?
Im a gay guy late 20s and my friend is a straight guy late 20s. I have been friends with this guy for 9 years. We met at college the very first weekend. Since that very moment I have spent the last 9 years in a painful friendship. I am in love with this man. He has lived with me at different times. We have spent countless hours together just laughing and hanging out. He has let me see him in almost no clothing. But through all of this. He has known that I like him a lot. Iv told him twice that I wanted to be more than fiends. But he is straight. The thing is. He acts like it never happens. I told him years apart and he still comes around. However he doesn’t bring me around his other friends we only handout in private. I feel like there is more but I know there isn’t. But why is he still my friend and calls me and text me even though he knows I’m in love with him?
