For context I am 28M and my gf is 30F. We’ve been together for almost 4 years now and even though we’ve never lived together, I’m thinking of proposing. I feel like I already know everything there is to know about her. We’ve traveled together multiple times for multiples days and weeks and we consistently stay over at each other’s places. We never had a chance to move in because she lives with her cousin and I live with my brother. We decided we would wait for the right time to move in together, which is sometime early next year.

One of the biggest things my family and friends say is that I need to live together for like a year before I get married to “make sure” she’s the one. We were friends for a few years before we started dating so I you could say I’ve seen both sides of her.

I feel like every important conversation that is meant to be had before marriage we’ve had. How we’d handle finances, the importance of sex in a marriage and prioritizing each ourselves over other family to name a few.

Am I crazy for wanting to propose soon? My goal would be to propose around November and possibly move in together sometime in March. All advice is appreciated!
