Hey Reddit! I’m looking for some advice and suggestions. My wife and I have been together since we were 16, and in a few months we’ll be celebrating both our 3rd wedding anniversary and 10 years together.
She is truly the best person I’ve ever met. Since high school, she’s amazed me every single day—she’s beautiful, funny, loving, and the most loyal person I know. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of our lives, is an incredible mother to our two kids, and constantly puts others before herself (sometimes too much). I honestly could not ask for a better partner.
I want to do something really special for her to celebrate. She’s not into expensive or flashy gifts, so I’m looking for something meaningful that she’ll genuinely appreciate. She already gets massages a few times a month, enjoys getting her hair done, and as a stay-at-home mom, she takes time for herself when I watch the kids so she can work out twice a week. What she values most is quality time, which can make gift-giving a little tricky.
We’re heading to South Carolina to celebrate, and I’d love to either plan an experience, create something for her, or buy her something that will really hold meaning. She loves heirlooms and things she can pass down to our daughter, but she doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry.
For the wives out there—what’s the most meaningful gift you’ve ever received, or what would you love most from your partner? Thanks in advance for the ideas!
