What is a small habit you adopted that changed your life?

Tinted sunscreen >>>>> make up
Microbladed eyebrow ✨
Journaling. It is so helpful with my past trauma (SA and childhood abuse). I can write whatever I want, without someone invalidating my experiences.
Wearing cute a lingerie to bed or sleeping completely naked
Love it. Absolutely love it
Carrying myself with my shoulders back and chin up. Not arrogantly. Confidently. Men notice. Women notice. Everyone notices.
Skipping
Using the gold dial bar soap on my armpits in the shower. My armpits literally never stink anymore
Brushing my hair before showering
Going for walks every single day.
Tracking my cycle and adapting my lifestyle to each phase.
Walking. It started off small and turned into one of my favorite things in the world and the most important part(s) of my day.
Walking away. From things/people/circumstances that don’t serve me or rather belittle me.
Wearing dry shampoo on clean hair not greasy. Using baby oil to take off false eyelashes (saves so much irritation).
Actually flossing.
Weight training
Drinking a protein smoothie I make every morning. Even if the rest of the day goes to shit, I get all my basic nutrients I need every morning and know I’m taking care of my body.
Sometimes, you let your brain win.
I have horrible anxiety. A therapist told me once that sometimes you just have to let it win when the fight isn’t worth it, and I thought, “That’s crazy.”
But then I tried it. I was always insanely scared that I didn’t lock the door… so I started taking a picture on my phone every time I did. Then, if I got anxious, instead of being stressed about it all day or going back to check, I could just… look at my phone. I started doing that more, picking my battles, letting myself have weird eccentric habits if it meant peace of mind and didn’t affect my life. Buying gloves to deal with texture issues and keeping them in my bag. Putting all my important stuff on the passenger seat of my car so I can look at it while driving and know I have it all. My life became so much more peaceful
Gratitude, it is the easiest thing in the world to complain and feel ripped off. When you start acknowledging all the beauty and good things (that we see as our right) and recognize how much worse it could be, it helps.
As soon as I wake up, I start by acknowledging my gratitude.
I have had a crushing few years, I have lost so much and lived through pain I didn’t think I could survive.
I don’t want to become bitter and mean, that would be the final blow.
Weed lol. Wish i could smoke it right now, but I have some stuff I have to take care of.
Saying “something good is gonna happen tomorrow” before I go to bed and saying “something good is gonna happen today” when I wake up. It helps keep me mindful and grateful for the every day goodness in life.
skincare routine!! helps me relax, feel refreshed and helps me feel better if im feeling sick, tired or just off 😊
Becoming super organized. Storage bins and shelves with labels and I created subfolders like “Books” or “Gym/Health” etc. to help organize all the notes in my iPhone
