30f when did dating get so hard?! I took a 4 year break and now dating feels impossible to me online dating apps are hard enough but now you have the added worry that you're going to be plastered over social media for just going on them. Honestly I can't bring myself to even try. Has this happened to any of you? Or is anyone else anxious about this? How did you cope with it.

  1. No, but this sounds gross – anything of that nature is just vile no matter where they get the source. I have heard good things about Hinge btw (UK).

  2. I think this should be reportable to dating sites and should lead to a ban of the people who do it. I also think that sites like Reddit and other social media should be very careful about allowing it as well. Life is hard enough without some TikTok moron ridiculing you for being who you are.

  3. I’ve been on tinder since it launched and every other app since and this has never happened to me. I wish it would, I love when people talk about me.

  4. Lately social media F ed up people too much. So many demands… and nothing in return… no one wants to build with you anymore. Everyone expects you to have this, this and that… and to just use it/ consume it. Women – “a man must have this salary, this car, this body, this job and deal with all my toxic and stupid behaviour…”. Men – “a woman must be with athletic body, must do this, must do that, must let me be total idiot…” Love is dead. Love is just dead. We all now just… are passing by in someone’s life. Now is the era of situationships… there are no more relationships… and dating apps are totaly waste of time btw. A person, who is worthy will not use this kind of stuff to find a half. Better try by going to some social events, but… it’s up to you.

  5. I’ve expressed the same concern on this site before and people say they NEED to be able to do it for safety and if you are against that you put lives at risk.

  6. Not to my knowledge but I have not been on any dating apps in about 5 years. I guess I will stay off them now. Unfortunately that could happen on any social media site. It is sad people have to do that.
