registering with a GP in a new part of the UK – will they send postal correspondence to my new address?

Trying to be organised with my upcoming house moved to another part of the UK – if I register with a new GP in my new town, will they send any paper correspondence to my new address?

I don’t particularly want anything arriving at the new property prior to our move in date.
