Throwaway account (Reddit is one of the few apps he follows). We've been married almost 15 years. Our finances have always been separate. When we shop together, he will ask, "You paying for this?". So, I pay. This has happened at the grocery store, Costco, clothes shopping for the kids. I have not once asked him if he is paying for shared household supplies. Sometimes he does just pay (rarely). I do make more than he does but not by a lot. Yesterday, we were at a vineyard picking out several bottles of wine. He asked me, "You got this?" and I said, "I've got mine." and paid for my own wine. He paid for his and pouted a bit. WWWHHHHYYYY?

Yes, I asked him why he does this. He said he was just making sure I am ok with paying. Makes no sense as these are not purchases that would break the bank. I guess this is our first fight about money.
