Hi all
I have been struggling with severe burnout for several years, i now work part time as a cleaner in a school, even though the money isn't the best its so nice to just go in after most have left and crack on with it. After working in some awful environments I dont know if I can cope going back to full time work that I was doing before even though I miss/need the money.
I was looking at Maid2Clean but im scared if the whole self employed stuff, ive no idea how it works and im anxious to take the plunge. I get ESA and PIP because of my health conditions so I also need to take into account earning enough yo cover any losses as I already work 15hrs a week.
If I wanted to start my own little cleaning thing (just me) do i just basically need insurance and my supplies? I have a car so getting to clients houses not an issue. I like being left to get on with it and I feel like it would be a good thing for me but I dont want to waste my time and any money starting it up if its not worth it.
Anyone do a similar thing and can give me some tips? What do you charge per hour?
I can get insurance for £6 or so a month, which is public liability , or £12 a month which also includes tools cover (which i dont think id need?)
I am doing my own research online but would love to hear from some people who have done it themselves.
Thank you in advance if you read this
