Hi all, looking for some advice.

I originally bought an iiyama G-Master Red Eagle G2470HSU-B1 less than a year ago. After a few months it developed serious faults (vertical lines, ghosting, colour distortion). It was replaced under warranty in May with the updated model, the G-Master G2470HSU-B6.

Unfortunately, that replacement also developed the exact same faults a few months later. I’ve now just received another replacement under warranty, but I’m concerned this is just going to keep happening every 3–6 months.

My questions are:

  • If this new replacement develops the same fault, am I within my rights to reject it under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and ask for a refund or a different model?
  • Should I be pushing this through the retailer (Comet) instead of just dealing with iiyama directly?
  • Is there a particular way I should word my request so I don’t just keep getting the same model swapped in and out?

I’m in the UK, the warranty is an onsite exchange, and I’ve already gone through two failures in under a year. I just don’t want to end up in a never-ending replacement cycle.

Any advice would be really appreciated.
