I thought chocolate oranges were super popular. So I made a homemade one with a large orange, and melted down some Cadbury milk chocolate that I spooned over the orange and put in the fridge.
It kind of looked like the one you get in the shops but was obviously very different in the inside. When I presented it to a friend they were perplexed.
I'm thinking I should bakes the orange with some brown sugar and butter before adding the chocolate? That would seem more of a dessert?
How should I make it?
- I should have mentioned that the orange was peeled before being slathered in chocolate.
