So I know I should’ve applied for a council house ages ago, I’m living with parents + my two kids in an overcrowded home, we thought we’d have luck with mid-markets but nothing as they keep saying I don’t meet affordability criteria which is crazy because I have 6k in savings. Saving for a deposit for a home but it’ll take me 10 years at this point. Currently in Midlothian, and just got my position letter through for the council house register and I have 150 points…any ideas on how long that means we’ll be waiting?
