Like the title says, I 25F went through my husband’s 26M Instagram account this week and saw he had restricted a few women on his Instagram. We have been married for 2 years. Some of these women are his former coworkers, others are my sister’s friends (who he has never met), and some are friends of friends (also never met). When confronted about why he restricted them he said that he found them interesting and visited the accounts multiple times but didn’t want me to see that he had looked them up. He said he only found them “interesting” and nothing more. He restricted them to (1) keep me from seeing him look them up and (2) to prevent himself from going back on the accounts.
Is this cheating? I’m extremely hurt that he would do something like this. I do not ever go through his phone so the 1st reason does not make sense. The 2nd reason makes me feel like this guy has no self restraint if he has to restrict them to keep himself from looking at them. Anyone else experience this? What did you do? Is this grounds for a divorce? I am at my wits end.
