I’m flying into Heathrow and I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to leave the airport by bus/train that gets me somewhere south of the airport and outside the ULEZ zone. I just need a short ride that takes me somewhere to meet my partner who is driving up but doesn’t want to go into the airport.
I’m landing in Terminal 3 so routes leaving from the central bus station or the underground are ideal. I want to avoid buses or trains that I have to book in advance, ideally take something that has frequent service, and avoid transferring.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve been trying to figure out a good way to do this for a long time but I’m not familiar enough with the area to be confident in any of my plans. Thanks!
