I have recently moved back to my home country and am no longer able to access the post at my old address in London. But the HMRC delivers tax refund decisions only through post. Plus, I’m requesting a refund mid-year. Is there any way of getting it before April 2026? Please help, any insights welcome!

  1. Most people do all that online these days. There’s also a new app.

Changing countries could complicate things so might be best to call them.

  2. HMRC will send letters to foreign addresses, you just need to tell them your address has changed.
