I'm trying to expand my repitoire, but find online recipes to be crowded by ads and / or American (no hate on the people or cuisine; I'm just not used to Farenheit and measuring cups!). What are some recipe books that have stood the test of time for you? Author can be from any country, but as mentioned, metric system very much preferred. Thanks in advance!
