Birkenstocks
Chacos. But as a geologist I’m legally obligated to own a pair.
Chunky orthopedic sneakers. Everyone clowns on them but they give tall, comfy, effortless energy with literally any outfit.
Glasses.
I actually really love big, nerdy or vintage glasses.
A silk scarf.
It’s so versatile! It’s always a part of my outfit one way or the other.
Sac style oversized dresses.
I get told a lot that my Dr Martens are ugly but they’re a staple in what I wear during fall and winter. I love them so much🥰
I don’t know if they are deemed “ugly,” however, I keep getting told that skinny jeans are “out.”
My Birkenstock sandals.
[removed]
Definitely glasses.
No interest in wearing contacts or getting lasik, but I have tons of frames that I switch out to match my outfits and it’s even better now that I know which type of frames and colors are flattering on me. Glasses actually make me feel even prettier. I look at them as similar to jewelry.
Jeans with only one loudly patterned leg, the other plain. Twas an art project.
boys’ tank tee. Boring as hell, makes everything look better/cooler and keeps me warmer in my freezing office.
I feel like all the other comments are things that are currently trendy?
My answer kind of is too though, socks with sandals. Sorry, it’s just lot more comfortable and I don’t want my feet skin near dirty city pavement.
Oversized blazers and high waisted bottoms. I’m curvy with a short torso so it’s high waist of die for me.
Oversized jeans and sweaters
Yall can pry my skinny jeans from my cold, dead hands.
Honestly I don’t even know what would be considered generally “ugly”
Like I can make *anything* work and look good as long as it fits me
Chunky sneakers! everyone says they’re ugly, but I wear them all the time and love the look
