I stopped smoking the plant a few weeks ago (something I’d been on and off with over the years) and I’ve noticed I fall asleep earlier and wake up naturally around 5 AM, feeling good. This means I can get up, head straight to the beach for a run, and do a healthy supermarket shop on the way home while it’s completely empty… Honestly, avoiding the busy supermarket has been a new little joy of mine.
By the time I’m done, it’s still in the 6 AM hour and I’m ready to get cracking. I work from home most of the time, so starting the day like this sets me up well.
I’ve been getting back into meditation, which has always been really beneficial for me, along with stretching. I can already feel the difference from picking these habits back up with less over thinking, more present/mindful of everything, feeling positive, whenever I need to take a phone call or speak I'm clear and strong.
I’m sharing all of this to give you an idea of where I’m at. I moved abroad last year to focus on growing as a person and the biz. Didn’t fit in with my hometown really anymore (just people partying, gossiping, small town stuff) so right now I don’t have many weekly commitments.
We are all different, one thing someone may need and someone may not so this post is more an interest in what you all do / what kind of habits do you have to operate at a high level daily?
