Hi everyone,
I’ve often seen the same homeless man with a dog at North Greenwich station Today I went up to them to give the dog some food and treats, and the man some food
I don’t want to judge, but my heart sinks every time I think the dog might be there only to attract donations. I truly hope that’s not the case and that the dog is safe and cared for.
I wanted to ask the community:
Are there organisations in London or the UK that check on the welfare of dogs owned by homeless people?
In realityhow often are animals in these situations well cared for?
Is there a way to help the dog without harming or offending the person?
Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!
