I don’t get my hair cut frequently. Maybe 2-3 times a year. I used to spend 20-30 per cut as the stylist I saw operated out of her house. I’ve since moved and now go to a salon and it is about $60-$70 for a cut. Which feels very expensive for the amount I usually get cut off (usually 1.5” or less). But the stylist has given me the best hair cuts the two times I’ve seen her so I am sucking up the price
€ 42 including washing and a blow dry.
$60 plus I usually tip $20.
Less than $50, including tip.
Maybe €20 once a year, after conversion. i usually cut my own hair (habit from boarding school) and only go to the hair dresser when I visit my parents in our home country.
$175+tip+travel costs or $0, there is no in-between. Can’t find a good curly haircut in my city so I’ve got to travel.
Somehow curly haircuts are the most expensive, but the easiest to do yourself.
$72 plus tip, but I cannot justify that for a trim anymore. I started trimming my own because..everything is expensive and I do not have the excess money
I used to spend $10 once a year but they had a price increase to $15.
I get a curly cut twice a year ish. Whenever I feel its looking scraggly. It costs £45
I’ve been cutting my own hair for like 15 years. So 0$
60 bucks a year
I do it myself. It stemmed from being too anxious as a teen to call the salon and book. Now I’m glad because I save so much money doing my own cut and colour.
I have long hair, and end up paying around $100 every time. Just for a cut (Canada).
I don’t pay but if I did it would be $50 a few times a year
$0. I haven’t had a haircut in years. Hubby does his and the boys’. We’ve bought a couple of trimmers over the last 16+ years – maybe spent $60-80+ total.
$60ish, every 18-24 months.
I can’t afford any extra expenses, so every year or two, I just cut my own.
I don’t like going to a hairdresser. Boring. $0
I pay $80 for a wash, trim, and dye
$65
Back in my home country a cut would cost me 10€. But where I currently live it costs 35€. I go there 2-3x a year and in the meantime I cut my fringe at home.
Pre-covid? $30 every 3-4 months. During and post-COVID? $0 since I learnt to cut my own hair and never looked back.
I cut mine around few times a year, and about RM100+ for washing and trim usually.

Nothing.
My husband and I cut each others hair, simple undercut and that’s it.
I might buy dyes for my hair sometimes and do it at home. Just like back in my youth, when the salons wouldn’t offer green or blue dye and I had to do it at home anyways.
$55 and that’s like twice a year 😂
I haven’t paid for a haircut since before 2017.
I keep it long, one length, and trim the ends myself.
I cut my own so $0 🙂 but if I want to bleach and dye, you can buy kits for $30-50 or buy it seperately usually for $20 for bleach and $20-25 for dye.
Usually 0. I trim my hair at home
Less than 100$ a year. 2 haircuts a year , usually.
I spend about £50 a year as I only get it cut annually.
My best friend is a hair dresser, so I’m really lucky because I get a 50% “family and friends” discount. Normally, her haircuts are $45, but she, at most, charges me $20-$25. She doesn’t charge me anything for trims, but I still Venmo her $10 for an appreciation coffee lol.
We live in upstate New York, so $45-$50 is pretty standard. She used to charge about $30, but prices have steadily gone up since the pandemic. I remember my mom (who also sees her) said once that she was getting expensive, but she’s genuinely the best hair stylist we’ve ever been to, so she’s 100% worth it.
$25/$30 a few times a year. I used to get full treatment cut, dye, style every 8 weeks and that wasn’t affordable anymore. So now I just dye my hair by myself and pay my lady to cut it
Around $100 because it’s a haircut, wash, blow dry, and a loose curl if I want it 😭
I don’t mind it because I only go maybe once or twice a year. Also every time I’ve went for a cheaper cut, they fk my hair up lol
70 plus 20% tip but I’m looking for a new stylist and prices are higher.
I think it’s 25 or 30 euros for a cut and blow, not sure how much the hair cut by itself costs. I usually get them 2 – 4 times a year.
Since covid I started cutting my own hair. Chop a couple inches off twice a year. My wife straightens out my cut. I probably should get better scizzors.
I budget for 65/4x a year. In reality it depends on what stylist is available, and can range from 45-65
Edit-this is for a wash, cut, dry, in a MCOL city.
The woman I go to charges $48 and I always tip about $15. I have long hair, so the charge is a little higher than her normal price.
35…
I have short hair, like boy short. I cut every 7 weeks or 8 weeks. No wash nor styling, just plain cut. Costed me $35 + tips which I tip $5. I had been trying to cut the bangs myself but the stylist kept asking me every time that did I cut my hair? I must did a very bad job so she noticed every time. Anyway, I just don’t like long hair and there went my lunch money.
150$ once a year. I wish I could cut my own hair but it’s pretty thick and wavy so I would rather have a professional do it.
I’ve paid a lot of money for shitty haircuts before, so now I just go to Supercuts. If I’m going to get a shitty haircut anyway, it may as well only cost $20.
