I moved to China just under 5 years ago with my then wife and son. I was on a trailing spouse so I have not legally been able to work when abroad. But after the marriage ending I am moving back to the UK. A few people have told me that I will need to register again with HMRC and it could take time to be classed as a resident again but I can’t really find any information online. Will there be any complications? Or will I simply just be able to move back and start working again ASAP? Anybody with previous experience with this kind of situations advice would be appreciated
