I am looking for some guidance on what a mid 30's male doctor routine looks like.
I haven’t been to a doctor or gotten a physical since I was a teenager, and it isn’t very comfortable to admit.
I also need some help determining where to start, what I am looking for, and so on.
I have found myself always pretty healthy. No major health scares. Exercise, eat healthy, not a big drinker or drug user. Just have always said, “yeah, in the future I’ll do that.”
Well, the future is now. I am about to get married. Going to be looking to have children. I just want to make sure I get my checks and balances in, but also continue with a routine for the future.
After some research, I have found to go for a general practitioner (be good to have a doctor where I live).
But within that, where do I start? Physical? Blood work? Is that together? I also read about getting a sperm analysis (I have lots of friends who have gone rounds w/ IVF).
I do have insurance.
Any insight?
