There is someone (F30) I (M29) plan on asking out through text for dinner but I am concerned that she will think we are meeting up as friends. What do I do and what can I say to let her know that it’s a date?

I made a similar post earlier today. I’m not spamming but I’m not sure if I should say the word “date” when I ask her to dinner.

So the reason why I am asking her out through text is because she doesn’t live in my state anymore (she lives about 60 miles away). We have known each other since we were little. We are still in contact though. Although we haven’t seen each other in a long time. I want to ask her out but I’m afraid she will think it’s as friends. What do i do?
