Guy I used to see reached out again… but turns out he’s in an open relationship. Feeling hurt.
A while ago, I had a fling with a guy. I knew he wasn’t going to build a life with me, so I ended things. Months later, he reached out again and wanted to reconnect. We chatted for a bit and it felt nice. He positioned himself as my ex lover and was open to go to movies and concerts with me. I missed him and he said it was a mutual feeling 🙂
Last week, during a random conversation, I found out he’s now in a relationship — but it’s open. He never mentioned this before, and I only found out because I asked directly. I feel blindsided. He said he was not sure if the woman is someone he loves yet but possibly. Secretly I think she is lucky haha
Part of me feels hurt and a bit bitter — like I’m “good enough” for his open relationship roster but not for a committed partnership.
What’s your opinion on this? Is it a true ethical open or he is just being a tool? Poor me 🙁
