This post isn’t about whether or not the companies of these dating apps would bother improving but just solutions to some issues both sexes experience on these dating apps.
Would could be put in place to resolve said issues.
Example issues:
Men receiving little to no feedback.
Women buried in likes with too many options.
Higher profile engagement.
And other issues you could point out.
At least for the women being buried you could maybe add a filter of not removing likes or hearts of people within a certain mile radius. Just outright not show.
Bettering filtering methods feels like a step in the right direction.
Lastly, this post isn’t about behaviors that people should change to circumvent these issues. For example, having men not swiping on every woman they come across as that sort of suggestion is expecting many individuals to change and do something that just isn’t likely to happen. In other words, not realistic.
Focusing on the dating app side of things versus the issue being set squarely on either of the sexes.
